Wireframing is the process of creating a blueprint for your website or app. You start with a blank slate and fill in the content and functionality that will make your site unique—you can think of it as an outline for your site's content and functionality. It's a fluid process that allows us to identify and change pieces before we build so that we can save both time and money during development. When you're done, you'll have an idea of what functions work best together and how to arrange them so that they're easy to use.
This is the first phase where we learn about our client's business, their goals, and needs.
After researching, we come up with some wireframe ideas based on what we learned.
Once we have the wireframes sketched on either paper or digital, it's time to create the visual design!
The final step is adding documentation to the wireframe. This is where we write up specifications for each page —so everyone involved has access to it at any point in the project.
Wireframing is an important part of the web design process because it helps us understand how all the pieces fit together like flow, what content will be included, and which features need to be added or removed. Without wireframing, we'd have no idea how all the pieces should fit together—and our clients would end up with something that doesn’t meet your needs.
